Coach Stephanie

Founder & Coach

Coach Stephanie s a distinguished former Ball State University gymnast, who excelled in her sport on a full-ride scholarship. Her passion for gymnastics extends into her career as a NAWGJ Level 9 rated judge and a successful gym owner. Stephanie has owned three gyms across two states, demonstrating her commitment to fostering gymnastics communities.

 

For the past 20 years, she has successfully coached& managed Flip Zone Gymnastics in Plainfield, Indiana. Recently, she expanded her vision by opening Flip Zone of Southwest Florida in Bradenton, which has flourished over the past nine months, now boasting 95 competitive athletes. In addition to Flip Zone, Stephanie introduced Sweet Peas Gymnastics to Lakewood Ranch, offering a specialized preschool recreational program for young families.

 

We are thrilled to have Stephanie's expertise and dedication benefiting families across the United States through her exceptional gymnastics programs.

Louis Robinson

Competitive Team Director & JO/Developmental Coach

Coach Louis Robinson brings an outstanding background to FZG as a JO/Developmental Regional and National clinician. His collegiate coaching experience includes the University of Florida, Michigan, Missouri, and The Ohio State University. He also spent nearly two years as an Optional Team Coach at Buckeye Gymnastics, where the gym was recognized as the 2023 Region 5 Club of the Year. Louis coached TOPS, HOPES, JR &SR elites at Buckeye.

Almari Hennes

Recreational Coach

Almari is very excited to coach at Flip Zone Gymnastics of SWFL. Coach Almari did gymnastics from ages 3-14. She competed in Compulsory, Xcel and Optionals finishing through level 6. She missed the sport so much she came back to coach it! Coaching and seeing the bright look on her students faces is the highlight of her week!

Paxton Duffy

Team Coach

Paxton Duffy is a devoted and seasoned gymnastics coach with over 5 years of experience working with athletes in recreational gymnastics and Xcel programs. She is dedicated to empowering her students to achieve their full potential by creating a positive and supportive environment that fosters growth, confidence, and teamwork. With a personal background in gymnastics, Paxton brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for the sport to her coaching. Recently making the move from Minnesota to Florida, she enjoys unwinding at the beach, indulging in arts and crafts, staying active at the gym, and cherishing moments with her two dachshunds and loved ones.

Hallie Tucker

I grew up in Boca Raton, FL starting gymnastics at the age of 3 and competing through level 8. In 2007 I began my coaching career teaching Preschool, Recreation and all levels of our competitive team. In 2017 I moved to the west coast of Florida to be closer to family and now I am raising my own little gymnast!

Jennifer Kepnes

Dance Zone Director & Team Coach

Jennifer came to Florida 3 years ago. Her Hometown is Boston, Massachusetts where she had her career as a soloist with Boston Ballet for 7 years. Aside from performing, Jennifer loves teaching children the art of dance and has been working with children of all ages for 20+ years within the dance world. Jennifer has acquired many teaching certifications throughout her teaching career. Some of which came from Dance Masters of America Teacher training school in Buffalo, NY and American Ballet Theater Training programs. Jennifer has been married for 17 years and has 2 daughters who were/are also gymnasts. In her spare time, Jennifer loves to bake sourdough bread, be in nature (probably dancing) and most of all spending time with her family.
